On October 6, 2012, over 200 participants celebrated the Worldwide Day of Play at the First Annual East Hall Family Fitness Day at East Hall Park.  Families were able to compete a Fun Run.  Students (and Parents) from the Kindergarten through 2nd grade ran a quarter mile, 3rd - 5th graders ran a half mile, and finally the 6th grade and up competed in a mile run.  Families could also participate in the football throw, 40 yard dash, soccer shootout, jump ropes, hula hoop competition, or bounce on one of the many inflatables.

The schools also competed in a 4 x 100 relay race.  With Tadmore taking home the award for the fastest elementary team.  Participants also had the opportunity to compete in an old fashion Tug-a-War competition.  Who doesn't like to grab the rope and test your strength?  A great time was had by all on hand and we look forward to the Second Annual event next year.

Students came from White Sulphur, Tadmore and Sugar Hill, and various other elementary schools, along with East Hall Middle School.

Thank you to all of our hard working volunteers that made this event a success.
